Class Audio respects the privacy of its users. This Privacy Policy explains how the DSP Controller application operates and how device connectivity and permissions are used.

1. Application Functionality

DSP Controller is designed to connect to, control, and configure Class Audio DSP devices. The application may communicate with supported devices through USB Serial, Bluetooth, or Wi-Fi.

The primary DSP control functions can operate offline and do not require a continuous Internet connection.

2. Internet Connection

When the firmware update feature is used, the application connects to a Class Audio server to check update information and download firmware files for supported DSP devices.

After downloading, the application transfers the firmware file to the DSP board using a connection method supported by the update feature. Normal DSP control does not require a continuous Internet connection.

3. Personal Information

DSP Controller does not currently require user registration or account login. Class Audio does not use the application's primary functions to collect personal information such as names, addresses, telephone numbers, or user account information.

When discovering or connecting to devices, the application may access technical identifiers such as a Bluetooth device name or identifier as needed to establish the connection. Firmware downloads may expose ordinary network information, such as an IP address, to the server and network service providers. Server-side logging and retention depend on the actual infrastructure configuration.

4. Device Permissions

The application may request permissions required to communicate with DSP hardware, including:

• USB and USB Serial access
• Bluetooth access for DSP device discovery, connection, and control
• Wi-Fi and network access
• Internet access when required

These permissions are used only to provide application functionality such as device discovery, device connection, DSP control, firmware downloads, and transferring firmware to the DSP board for updates.

5. Advertising

DSP Controller does not contain third-party advertising networks and does not use personal information for targeted advertising.

6. Third-Party Services

The application may use network infrastructure or services required to download update files or related information. Network and infrastructure providers may process basic technical information generated through normal Internet communications.

7. Changes to This Privacy Policy

Class Audio may update this Privacy Policy when features or services of DSP Controller are changed or expanded, including additional connectivity or online services.
